Miriam Beichert (b. 1999 in Mosbach, Germany) is a visual artist based in Stuttgart, Germany. In her work, Beichert contemplates contemporary lifestyles and studies her surroundings. Beicherts exploration of her digital and physical surroundings has a huge influence on her work. Her paintings feature clothing, advertising and everyday objects that appear like washed-out memories, characterized by blurry, loose sprayed lines and dissolving colors. As a queer individual, Beichert dealt with complex emotions during adolescence and found a way to express them in art. She explains that her studies in Freiburg and Vienna formed the foundation for her artistic development and reinforced her interests.
