About the Artist

Susila Bailey-Bond

British, b. 1972

British, b. 1972

Susila’s work is regularly exhibited at major art fairs across the USA, London, Europe and Aisa. Her work appears in private and corporate collections across the globe. Since being first shown at the Woolff Gallery London in 2008, Susila's work has been widely exhibited at art fairs in London, Miami, Chicago, New York and Toronto. Tiffany and Co. commissioned major installation work for three of their stores in London's Bond Street, Seattle and Los Angeles. Her work is also found at Luxury brand Davidoff among others. Susila's art has also been included in the book 'Papercraft II', published by Gestalten and her work can be found in private collections internationally. Susila Bailey-Bond’s delicate three-dimensional works suggest movement and grace, with densely-packed printed papercuts, from butterflies to aeroplanes, leaping off the board in a flurry of soft colours and shapes. These papercuts are designed and printed onto heavy watercolour paper before being hand-cut. Depending on the series the body of work has gold, silver leaf, or/and Swarovski crystals.
