Ikumi has loved to draw since she was a child. However, she never thought of becoming a painter, and only studied seriously at school. When she became a high school student and was deciding on a career path, she decided to do what she really wanted to do and go to an art college. She studied to draw plaster sketches and oil paintings at an art school, and has been painting ever since. She likes to paint when she can relax and calm down in her room, without being disturbed by anyone, with Mozart playing. She hopes to continue painting for the rest of her life.
