About the Artist

b. 1978, Tarnowskie Gory, Poland Works in New York Zarebinski is a contemporary artist investigating the tension between precision and intuition, control and release. Through abstract mark-making and hard-edged lines, his work becomes a site for emotional resonance—a visual field where memory, movement, and pure joy converge. His practice is grounded in a search for clarity that resists resolution, favoring presence over perfection. His current work moves between two interwoven modes: one architectural and geometric—anchored in the brutalist structures of his Eastern European upbringing—and the other intuitive, emotional, and freehand. In the latter, gestures unfold in real time, carried by rhythm and guided by a quiet pursuit of internal balance. Each canvas becomes a record of this negotiation: between form and feeling, discipline and surrender. Trained as a still life photographer, Zarebinski brings a sharp, meditative attention to light, space, and composition. His minimalist language draws from Danish modernism and Scandinavian mid-century design, but aims less to decorate than to distill—to strip away noise and reveal what endures. Exhibited in New York, Paris, and Madrid, his work remains rooted in process, honesty, and the poetics of reduction.
