azalea is an artist based in Kyoto, where she was born and raised. Her work blends fantasy and Japanese emotion, attracting collectors both in Japan and abroad. Some even travel to Kyoto regularly to see her creations. Inspired by anime and video games, she paints dreamlike, digital-style worlds using analog techniques. Each piece combines a sense of wonder with warmth, offering comfort and inspiration to the viewer. A recurring theme in her work is a young boy traveling freely through imagined landscapes—forests in mist, underwater towns, pastel seas.
