After graduating from college, Satomi worked as a flight attendant for a Taiwanese airline. She then became a visual media translator. After having her child, she started her career as an artist. In 2019, she built her own home and decided to try her hand at fluid art for the first time in order to display an artwork. Realizing the fun of art making, which started out of curiosity, she began submitting her self-taught paintings to public exhibitions.
