Kota Miyazaki (宮崎 浩太)

It was about a year after entering university that Kota began to take up painting in earnest. As he came into contact with contemporary galleries in his hometown and the art scene in the Kanto and Kansai regions, he decided that he wanted to create and leave his own works. One of the most influential exhibitions for him was the Essential Painting exhibition held in 2006. He was deeply impressed by the opportunity to view the works of artists who were at the forefront of contemporary painting at the time. He aims to one day become an artist whose work will be exhibited and collected by a museum.
