María Conejo

María Conejo is a Mexican designer and illustrator focusing on female body representation through art. Trained at the National Fine Arts Institute, she creates illustrations challenging societal stereotypes about women's bodies. Her work explores female narratives of resistance and self-determination, published in international media like The Washington Post and Vice. Conejo has received national creative grants and won first place in the 10th National Design Biennial for socially responsible design. Her artistic approach centers on depicting female bodies as autonomous protagonists, free from traditional stereotypical representations.
