Mary Pinto
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Mary Pinto lived for 15 years in Spain before settling in New York City. Her photograms and collages have been exhibited at Gallery 1/1, Hofstra University Museum and St. Thomas Aquinas College, among other venues. Mary has been awarded residency fellowships at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and the Artists' Enclave at I-Park in Connecticut. In 2017, her work was featured in ArtSpace magazine's "Five of the Best Artworks from Photo L.A.". In 2019, she was awarded a New Works grant from the Queens Council on the Arts. She received her M.F.A. from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in 1999.
